Canon Ip1188 Driver For Mac

I am on a new Microsoft Surface Pro X, trying to install the Canon ir-ADV C5560i printer on it with Windows 10 Pro. None of the printer drivers on the Canon support website for it will install at all (UFRII, PCL6, PS) ... keeps giving me the error "Cannot correctly run this installer on this operating system. Use an installer compatible with your operating system." Since these are network printers with an IP address assigned to them, I tried to brute force create a printer using TCP/IP address, but it won't accept the CNLBOM.INF driver file as valid. This all likely has to do with the ARM 64-bit processor in the Surface Pro X. Normally you can install a 32-bit driver or app on the ARM 64-bit processor in Windows 10 Pro, but the Canon printer drivers are a combined 32-bit and 64-bit driver version which Windows 10 Pro on the ARM64-bit processor won't recognize. I also tried the TCP/IP printer setup using the Microsoft MS XPS Class driver , which connects to it and prints, but it doesn't recognize the printers double-sided options or any other of the printer's options. Can anyone help?

I have the same problem, and until canon develops an ARM64 print driver you will not be able to install your printer. Microsoft blew it on this one. Microsoft is blaming the printer manufactures for their incompetence.

Driver Support maintains a database containing millions of drivers for nearly every imaginable device on your system. With a simple download and installation of our sophisticated software, your system can be updated quickly and easily with any outdated or missing drivers. This not only gets your system current for your Canon printer, but also will keep all your system drivers up-to-date for continuous peak performance.

If a reliable printer suddenly malfunctions and throws up that error message, it may be linked to an outdated or incompatible driver. It could even be that the printer driver became faulty and stopped responding to system commands.

Several instances of the unavailable printer driver error are linked to a software upgrade. Users who recently made the jump to Windows 10 from an earlier version may find that the process damaged some device drivers. Your printer or its driver might also be incompatible with your current Windows version.

In rare cases, you may experience the unavailable printer driver error because of a corrupt file or driver. This becomes more complicated if the driver in question is the latest version you can use. You may need to downgrade or uninstall the software and hope it works.

The printer driver links the OS to your printer so the former can read and understand the hardware specifications and abilities of the latter. It also decodes print instructions into a language that the printer can understand. Without it, no printing, scanning or copying job can happen.

A driver that ordinarily works well might also become faulty. A recent Windows upgrade might have rendered it incompatible with the current OS. Whatever the case, updating the driver automatically can solve your problem.

You may need to detach your printer and then connect it back to solve the printer driver unavailable issue in Windows 10. You will remove the printer and its drivers from your PC, detach it physically and then reinstall everything back. This might take a bit of time but the reward will likely be worth the effort. 2ff7e9595c
